Meet Eddy, the e-Engineer

Our first e-module features Eddy, the e-Engineer, who guides you through the principles of Moving loads by lifting and slinging.

Eddy has a wealth of engineering experience having been apprenticed trained and has now worked for over 38 years within the engineering sector.

Within the e-module Eddy takes you through a number of key issues relating to moving loads by lifting and slinging, including:

• Recognising & using lifting equipment
• The lifting process
• Safe lifting
• Your role

Over the coming months we will be introducing you to the rest of the e-Engineers that work within the Engineering e-Academy. Elise, one of our younger e-Engineers, is busily working on the next engineering specific e-module, which focuses on identifying & selecting engineering materials.
