Course Overview
Following the ECDL syllabus (version 5 - Office 2003 / Windows XP), this "ThirdForce" module teaches database skills using Microsoft Access 2003. After taking this course, learners will be able to enter and manipulate data in a database. They will be able to set up a database to store data in an organised structure. They will also be able to retrieve specific data and present it in a format that is easy to interpret and analyse. The course is supplemented by tasks, assignments and a project, which allow learners to practise their newly acquired skills and encourage communication.

It is estimated that this module will take approximately 10 hours to complete (depending on learning speed).
