Using technology to enhance the learning process
With over 61% of household now having access to the internet (of which 83% have broadband) the use of technology to enhance the learning process is a now a reality. You only need to look at the phenomenal growth in the use of mobile phones, i-pods and the like, to see what a great opportunity technology provides for creating a route for on-demand, flexible learning.
Over the coming months we will be featuring a number of different technologies in some real life case studies. These will feature UK based oragnisations who have actually embraced a particualr technology and will provide a 'warts and all' review of their experience.
The technologies to be reviewed in the first phase of case studies are:

- e-Assessment - Find out how you can create your own e-assessments to validate learner knowledge
- e-portfolios - See how e-portfolios can be used to improve the portfolio development process
