We are delighted to introduce you to the Engineering e-Academy which we have established to help create a more flexible delivery solution for skills development within the engineering and technology sector.

With over 65% of UK households now having access to the internet, the provision of learning at a pace, place and time to suit the learner has become a reality. Virtual College Limited, a major e-learning pioneer, has developed the Engineering e-Academy to provide e a complete online e-learning solution for the engineering sector.

The e-Academy model provides a tremendous opportunity to allow organisations to embrace technology that will provide a high quality, consistent and flexible model for education and training.

We are particularly grateful to our first founder member, Castings Technology International who have shown significant enthusiasm for the use of e-learning for education and training within the sector.

One of the key objectives of the Engineering e-Academy is to create a vehicle that engages all organisations within engineering and technology, in a process that encourages the sharing of ideas and creation of new learning tools. In doing so, we hope we can develop an extremely powerful solution that makes a real change.
